Abstract

AbstractThis paper presents a comparative study about the research made on teaching cyber journalism in RioGrande do Norte and Mato Grosso do Sul. The research made in 2007 with the objective of mapping theavailability of the disciplines associated to Cyber Journalism in the universities and colleges in the city ofRio Grande do Norte. The text presents the importance in updating the curriculum, especially the toolsused in the web. In Mato Grosso do Sul, the research was made in 2008-2009, adopted as researchmethod was the interpretation of analysis data of the curriculum structures in the Journalism courses. Theresearch showed, among other aspects, in both situations that the importance of teaching cyber journalismis very clear for the journalism studies.
